This is the BEST Apple Crumble recipe ever! Tender sweet apples topped with pecan oatmeal cookie crumble topping,easy and the perfect baked fall dessert.
FILLING:
5 apples*
2 TBSP melted vegan butter**
2 TBSP packed brown sugar
2 TBSP all purpose flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp all spice (or nutmeg)
CRUMBLE
1 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup chopped pecans
2 TBSP packed brown sugar
2 TBSP melted vegan butter
1 tsp cinnamon
Preheat the oven to 350˚F and spray a 8x12 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray
Store for about 3-4 days covered in the fridge.
*I used honey crisp apple because its a nice sweet flavor without being too overpowering, but feel free to use whatever is your favorite apple. I also only peeled the skin off of about half the apple because I wanted the extra texture but you can peel all the skin or none at all whichever you prefer. I also sliced my apples but if you prefer them chopped feel free to do so.
** I use Earth Balance vegan butter spread in the red tub
*** if you absolutely love the toppings feel free to double the recipe for the crumble topping
