These easy Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies are the best vegan homemade cookie recipe ever!  Perfectly crisp outside and studded with chocolate. 


For the Crispy Chocolate Chip Cookies


1/3 cup vegan butter softened*

1/3 cup cane sugar

2/3 cup packed brown sugar 

2 TBSP non-dairy milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 1/3 cup unbleached all purpose flour

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 tsp sea salt

1/2-2/3 cup vegan chocolate chips


Pre-heat the one to 350° F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper

  1. In a bowl add the softened butter, if your butter is still cold you can microwave for 15-30 seconds until softened but not melted.
  2. Add the cane sugar and brown sugar, milk, and vanilla.  Stir until well combined.
  3. Add in the flour but before stirring also add the baking soda and salt on top the flour and then stir it all in together.
  4. Add the chocolate chips and fold them in.
  5. Scoop out 1 1/2 TBSP size balls and place on lined baking sheet, about 6-8 cookies per sheet depending on the size of baking sheet you are using.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes, remove and let cool 15 minutes before touching them.

Makes 11-13 cookies

Store in a sealed container for 3-5 days


*I use vegan stick butter, not butter spread from a tub.
