Your gonna love this sweet salsa because it is the easiest thing ever to make! No fuss, literally, it's just chopping and boiling and that's all you need to do for this salsa! It's super sweet and chunky and we ate it all seriously in a day and a half!

    Easiest Sweet Salsa

So it's that time of year when our tomato's, peppers, and onions are starting to come to and end.
We decided to use up most of what we have left in our garden and make a super easy sweet salsa (we LOVE salsa!)

So I'm going to be totally honest with ya, the first batch went so fast that we had to make another one... Nick and I are kinda salsa pigs we love sweet, spicy, mild... Doesn't matter we looovvveee salsa! And besides dipping chips in it, I'll put salsa on anything, pasta, tortilla wraps, dip pizza in it. (I know kinda strange, anyone else obsessed with salsa like me?)

    Easiest Sweet Salsa

If you have never made your own salsa try this recipe it's so easy and homemade salsa is ways better than store bought, I used to love salsa from the store until we started making it at home and I'm tellin ya, my thoughts have not been the same since! Homemade just has so much more flavor and texture and it's tastes a million times fresher!

So what's in this sweet salsa ....
cherry tomato's (from our garden) sweet and juicy
Sweet yellow onion (also from our garden) keep the sweetness but if you prefer a different kind of onion go for it!
Anaheim pepper (again our garden) gives a little bit of kick and texture
    orange sweet peppers
    lime
    corn
Water from can corn (you can use plain water but the water from the can gives it more flavor)
    black beans (rinsed off)
sugar (this is what keeps this recipe sweet and mild instead of spicy, if you want your salsa to have more heat leave this out
    garlic (makes everything taste better!)

if you love salsa but this "easiest sweet salsa" recipe takes a little too long for your tastes try my Chunky Healthy Vegan Chip Dip it literally takes 10 minutes or less to make!

This is totally my kind of recipe! I'm all about the heat so no sugar for me, but the rest is a for sure go! Maybe I'll double up on the garlic, lolz! LOVE this!

Thanks Karen! We have done this same recipe but we had 2 Anaheim peppers and we grilled them first and it made the salsa super hot! Try adding another pepper if ya love the heat! 😉

This sweet salsa looks so good, Michele! To be honest, I don't think I've had this kind before. I'm loving all of the ingredients in here. And isn't home-made salsa the best? I've made it several times over the past few months and my husband and I eat it like crazy! I'll defintiely have to give your sweet version a try!

Yesss you should totally try it, the sugar makes it so sweet unlike any salsa I have ever bought in the store! And it's super easy which is also a plus! Thanks Gayle 😉

Thanks Kelly! If you love it spicer, do 2 Anaheim peppers and leave out the sugar, I've made that combo before and it defiantly had heat! 😉

Fresh homemade salsa is definitely the best. And, this one with the sweet inside has got to be the bomb! Especially love how you use the liquid from the canned corn. Making my mouth water!
