GARDEN UPDATE # 2 2015!!!
these are some of our peppers! last year our tomatoes grew fast and the peppers were late, this year it's completely opposite which might have something to do with our tomatoe pots I'll explain below...
but seriously the peppers just took off this year, a SPICY salsa recipe is coming soon yippie! you can check out the Sweet Garden Salsa if you cant wait for the Spicy!
or check out last years Spicy Garden Salsa and last years Sweet Garden Salsa 😉
and our sugar snap peas! these are SO good... I'll say half of them never even make it in a dinner because we eat them right off the plant they are the perfect snack and tastes so sweet and fresh when you grow them yourself!
and holy moly! first year growing yellow squash, had NO idea they would get this big, again bigger pots next year for sure!
and the tomatoes... first of all ...the pot = wayyy to small they kept falling over that's why we have them tied to the fence to hold them up! second does anyone know why the bottom leaves are dying? especially on that end one? is it cause the pots are too small?Â
for some reason these got way bigger than the ones we planted last year, we used the same pots but these ones shop up to over 6 feet! (from the pot not the ground, that's a 6 foot fence they are tied too)
oh and I can't forget those are the cucumbers next to the tomatoe plants in this picture!
these are SO sweet and tastes like candy! lol ok ok not candy but seriously super yummy especially the yellow ones!!!
green onions! so yummy! I put them in everythangggg!
anyways that's all for now! salsa recipe coming soon! 😉
