This Healthy Baked Italian Seasoned Cauliflower is full of SO much flavor and one of my FAVORITE ways to enjoy cauliflower! plus it's super easy! VEGAN + GLUTEN FREE
So today I wanted to share with you my all time favorite way to enjoy cauliflower!
It's super easy and it only takes a few minutes to prepare and then you pop it in the oven and wait for crispy golden good-ness to come out!
Your taste buds will be sure to thank you for this!
If you not a fan of plain ol' Cauliflower then you need to try this, TRUST ME.  You will be so happy you did. 😉
It has a much better texture than just eating it raw which is ok from time to time but the crumbly texture doesn't appeal to me very often, how about you???
But THIS cauliflower seriously! it's lightly crispy and golden all over, it's soft but not soggy and it's not bogged down with oil!
In cause you haven't already seen my other cauliflower recipe you can check it out here, although I totally love that recipe I lightened this one up a bit, less oil, different flavor but still oh-so-satisfying! 😉
I really love to enjoy this just as-is, but when I'm not in the mood for that much cauliflower.... I like to make a bed of lettuce and top it with brown rice and this cauliflower on top! It's simple and the cauliflower gives it plenty of flavor.
You could also use this as a side dish to ANY meal that you make.
Oh yeah! I can't forget to mention the onion in here, they get a super sweet caramelized flavor and texture that who knows, maybe you'll start baking ALL you onions in the future.... hmmmm ideas ideas ideas! 😉

PrintHealthy Baked Italian Seasoned Cauliflower
great as a side dish or a main meal over a salad or rice!
- Prep Time: 10 mins
- Cook Time: 45 mins
- Total Time: 55 mins
- Yield: 2 1x
Ingredients
- 1 head of cauliflower
- 1 small white onion (or half a large one)
- 2 TBSP Olive Oil
- 2 TBSP died Italian seasoning
- salt/pepper to taste
Instructions
- pre-heat the oven at 350
- roughly chop and rinse your cauliflower
- slice your onion
- place everything on a baking sheet and drizzle olive oil and seasonings over the top, use your hands to mix it all up and make sure everything is lightly coated!
- place in oven and 350 for 45 minutes lightly toss/stir half way through
eat the whole thing to yourself! 😉
