How to make Coconut Butter at home yourself could not be any easier! You can customize the flavor think: chocolate or cinnamon… or just leave it plain!
Making your own coconut butter is SUPER easy, you just need unsweetened shredded coconut and a high speed blender or food processor!
I love getting creative with my coconut butter and making different flavors, I have included two of my favorite varieties in here for you, CHOCOLATE because hello I love everything chocolate and also cinnamon because it’s a nice flavor on a warm slice of toast!
So for storing this stuff, it will stay fresh longer in the fridge 1-2 weeks but it gets much more hard in the fridge than if you just leave it on the counter so it’s totally up to you depending on how fast you think you’ll go through it and how big of a batch you make… just remember you can al heat it up to make it softer but it will never be as creamy if you store it in the fridge.
How to use:
Coconut Butter is super yummy to add to dessert recipes like these 5 Ingredient no bake Coconut Butter Bars or even just spread on a slice of toast, use it like you would use peanut butter or almond butter!
If you give this coconut butter a try be sure to let me know what you thought and what flavor you decided to make! Leave me a comment or tag me with a pic on TwoRaspberries!
