    quick update!

    koope kushie

hey everyone! here's a quick update about the surgery and how it's going so far!

    kooper

this is Kooper, he was super sad and freaked out when I left with Kushie-mon for surgery... his daddy stayed with him until I got home but boy oh boy did he have a panick attack!

he was nervous all day and very mOpy (no clue how to spell that?) and very down without his brother... his brother is like a security blanket for him, Kooper came from a pet store,  he has anxiety and security issues with any "change" so it was a rough day for him as well...

I don't know if you all know about Jack Russell's but they have so much energy it's unbelievable! so I was a little nervous as to weather I would have to keep them separate from each other last night BUT he was such a good lil prince... he chilled by us all night and he was super calm and didn't bother his brother at all!!!... he was concerned but he kept on his best behavior! that made me super happy 😉 and made my life easier! (they are sometimes just like little kids provoking and aggravating each other) HA!

    kushie

this is my precious lil Kushie-mon! his surgery was tuesday morning he is such a tough guy and he is being a very good trooper... last night was a little rough I think he was in pain (although they gave me pain pills for him) and he was super scared... I pretty much held him, and carried him all night after I picked him up at 5 o'clock ... if I put him down he would get a panic look in his face and whine at my feet... he's such a sweet boy and I love him so very much!

As for the biopsy, they took a good amount to test, he has stitches on the roof of his mouth where they removed  samples... they told me I should hear back with results by the middle of next week!

I am hoping and praying they have answers for us as to what the heck it is and how to treat it!

right now he is just eating soft food and taking it easy!

and if you didn't hear what's been going on with Kushie you can read more details on my other post!

that's all for now just wanted to post a quick update what's been going on this week!

hope you have a wonderful day!

Oh, poor little guy! I pray that he can now begin to heal and get back to normal. I totally know how you feel Michele. Our dogs are like our children and we love them so very much. I have a chihuahua/Jack Russell mix, and he has a lot of energy. Our family lost our 13 and 1/2 year old Lab on Saturday and we are all in mourning. He was a fantastic dog and will be deeply missed. Keep us updated on his recovery and lab results!

🙁 I'm so sorry to hear that your lab passed away! it's so hard to loos a pet, my 20 year old cat passed almost 2 months ago I totally understand the pain. I hope you can be comforted by the thought that he is no longer in pain and is always with you in spirit and memories! ... and I will for sure keep everyone updated about the result! thanks so much for your kind words 😉

Sending a few prayers up for the Kushie-mon. Isn't waiting for news just the worst?!? Sometimes, I think the waiting game is the hardest part of life in general. So stressful. Hope everything turns out ok! My 2 doxies are best buds, I don't know what they'd do without the other one. And they're getting older, 14 years a piece! My mom has a Jack Russell and has tons and tons of energy. This poor dog was just abandoned on the side on the road and left for dead. Good thing my mom rescues all the animals in the country =)

I don't know how people can be so horrible, but good thing your mom found him that day 😉

I'm sending positive thoughts your way. Poor little thing. I don't have a dog, but I have 2 cats and I hate it when they are unwell, as I just feel so helpless.

I'm so glad to hear that things went well, Michele! I can only imagine how hard that must've been for you, but I'm glad both dogs are doing fine. They're so adorable and that's so nice that they get along so well! I had two dogs growing up too, and they were like brother and sister! Prayers for a speedy recovery!
