How to make Rawnola + VIDEO! super easy with a how-to video! Healthy and great for topping on nice cream, snacking on or in a bowl with nut milk and fruit!
ok! this is my very FIRST recipe video! 😉
I was super nervous and I wanted to make something really simple to start with! I have never made or edited a video so this is all new to me! I'll get better with practice! 😉
I hope you check it out and give me your feedback!  I would love for you to subscribe to my youtube channel too! I want to keep the videos really chill and casual, nothing fancy, just like I am right there with you as a friend and not so much a "teacher" lol!
I have really been wanting to get into YouTube for a while but I have been too shy! a couple of my blogging friends have started doing videos and it has really encouraged me to just take the leap since they are also very shy too! lol 😉
anyways I also want to know what other videos YOU would be  interested in? some ideas I have below:
grocery hauls
what I ate to day
my favorite vegan skincare products
my favorite store bought snacks
more recipe videos
life vlogs
any other suggestions??? either comment below or send me a suggestion on FB or TwoRaspberries😉

PrintRawnola
Rawnola is a super easy, healthy and great for topping on nice cream, snacking on or in a bowl with nut milk and fruit!
- Prep Time: 10 mins
- Total Time: 10 mins
Ingredients
- 8 pitted medjool dates
- ¾ cup rolled oats (certified GF if necessary)
- ¾ cup flaked coconut
- 1 TBSP coconut sugar
Instructions
- pit your dates
- add everything into a food processor and pulse until everything is combined and has formed a sticky Rawnola
- store in a sealed jar (like a mason jar) in the fridge up to 1 week
- makes about 2 cups of rawnola not pressed and smashed together!
Notes
if it's too sticky you can add ¼-1/2 more rolled oats to this recipe... I prefer mine kind of sticky and chewy but if you like it a bit more dry then add the oats!
if it is too dry:
pulse in the food processor longer! it will get dry and crumbly BEFORE it turns clumpy and sticky!
if that doesn't work then add a couple more dates!

Hi! I made this recipe recently but it didn't come out chewy / sticky, unfortunately it was dry. Any advice?
tworaspberries
YES! so if it turned out dry it could be one of two different things...
first being that you didn't continue in the food processor long enough and this is very common, it can be kind of tricky, first it will turn into a crumbly loose mixture BUT if you continue to process it for another 30-60 seconds it will break up the dates more and it will start to clump up because the dates will get stickier... be sure you don't keep going once it starts to clump though because it will just continue to get more and more sticky!
second option also very common, you had smaller dates (mine were pretty big) so you may have needed to add a couple more dates... depending on how loose your mixture was I would start by adding 2 dates but you shouldn't need to go beyond 4 more if they were really small!
another note: if you still have the mixture and didn't throw it out yet, you most likely would be ok just putting it back in the food processor and adding a couple more dates and process longer! (if the mixture isn't more than 1-2 days old)
I hope you give it another try because it is SOOO worth it! let me know 😉
