Instructions
Cook the quinoa if it’s not already cooked, cook it in water plain do not add anything to it.
Once the quinoa is cooked add it to a bowl. In a separate bowl add the almond milk, cinnamon and chopped apples and give it a stir, place it in the microwave for about 45-60 seconds until warm or hot whichever you prefer.
Pour the warm almond milk/apple/cinnamon mixture over the quinoa.
Add toppings, banana, raisin, pecans and more cinnamon.
If you choose to add a sweetener I would add it to the microwave mixture!
This recipe serves one but it is easily adapted to serve more!
Notes
I like to cook bigger batches of quinoa and store it in the fridge for up to 3 days so it is ready when I want to use it for breakfast like this of lunch/dinner.
