In this post I am showing how to make a super quick and easy DIY Rice Face exfoliate/scrub VEGAN friendly
This is my favorite facial exfoliate/scrub! it is great for sensitive skin because it's super gentle but works great! in this post I am going to show you step-by-step and what it should look like! It's SUPER EASYย and fun! very affordable, and non-toxic! ย and of course VEGAN friendly.
I love this stuff! It really cleans any clogged pores and leaves my skin feeling clean and smooth, it doesn't leave it feeling cut or beat up. I don't always use this on my cheeks, it depends on how they look, my cheeks are very sensitive to cold and windy weather so if they already look or feel rough I will just do my chin, nose, forehead and then I go all the way down my neck and chest. I have used this on my whole body as well and it's worked GREAT! I do suggest doing this in the shower because it can be messy! ๐ ok, on to the Rice Scrub!
First you take some Rice Flour (I use Bob's Red Mill white rice flour, but brown rice would probably work just as well).
The amount depends on whether you will be using it for just your face or your whole body, so use your best judgement for that. For just my face I use probably about ยผ cup, for my whole body about 2-3 cups.
Add just enough water to get a putty consistency like the picture below, use a spoon to mix together.
Spread wherever you want and rub away in circulate motions, be gentle, your not scrubbing the floor! ๐
I hope you liked this post and give it a try! let me know if you want to see more DIY VEGAN beauty things!
Ingredients
Recipe for Face only (increase rice flour and water quantities for doing your whole body)
- ยผ cup rice flour (I like Bob's Red Mill)
- water (Enough water to form a putty consistency (see pictures above))

super easy. super fun.

Better yet, I just put the dry powder (with a couple other dry ingredients) in an old spice container that I keep in the shower. After you wash your face, sprinkle a bit on your fingertips and then scrub. So easy!
