- Fresh Berries: Fresh is best to keep this yogurt berry parfait nice and fresh and not soggy or watered down from the frozen fruits.
- Pure Maple Syrup: I like to keep this parfait naturally sweetened and refined sugar free so I used maple syrup to naturally sweeten this berry parfait without the added refined sugars in most yogurts.
- Non-Dairy Yogurt: I used unsweetened coconut yogurt but your favorite variety will work just fine, be sure it's unsweetened because we are going to naturally sweeten it with maple syrup.
- Vegan Granola: I used homemade vegan granola but if you have a favorite store bought granola that's also fine just watch out for the added refined sugars.
Variations
- Berries and chocolate: This is already the best parfait recipe, it requires only 4 ingredients. If you'd like to make this taste more like a dessert parfait, simply add a handful of mini vegan chocolate chips as a topping or make my healthy chocolate sauce for a tasty topping. It will be a delicious berry chocolate parfait.
- Vegan yogurt: In this berry yogurt parfait, I used non-dairy unsweetened coconut yogurt. Feel free to use any type of yogurt you like in this berry parfait recipe, but remember to keep it unsweetened since we're using maple syrup to sweeten it and keep it refined sugar-free.
- Crunch: In this yogurt and berry parfait, I used my easy-to-make, tasty Vegan Granola Recipe. You can easily add your favorite store bought granola if you'd like. If you'd rather use nuts in place of the granola, be sure to chop them up. This yogurt berry parfait will get a good crunch from the granola or chopped nuts.
How to make this Berry Parfait
Prep: Make the homemade vegan granola unless you are using store bought. Wash the fresh berries.

Step 1: Next mix the maple syrup in with the yogurt to naturally sweetened it.
