Ingredients
For the full list of ingredients and quantities to make this Strawberry Mango Smoothie recipe check the recipe card below.
- Frozen Mango and Strawberry: Gives the sweetness and flavor to the smoothie.
- Frozen Banana: Gives a creamy texture and filling component to the smoothie.
- Water: Swap regular water for coconut water to add more nutrients to this strawberry mango smoothie.
- Orange juice or Almond Milk: Orange juice will give you a sweeter strawberry mango smoothie and almond milk will give you a creamier mellow smoothie. Both are delicious and I enjoy them both depending on what I’m in the mood for. For the milk like almond milk for this strawberry mango smoothie because it light and fresh but any non-dairy milk will work.
Variations
- Add Nut Butter: If you are looking for a more filling smoothie add some nut or seed butter such as cashew butter, almond butter or peanut butter.
- Protein Powder: Add a scoop of protein powder (I like pea protein for a mild flavor or hemp protein for a lot of added nutrients but the flavor does change a bit) or your favorite vegan vanilla protein powder would work great. I like Sunwarrior brand.
- Add Greens: I love to add 1-2 stems of kale in my mango strawberry smoothie, it’s a great way to get more greens in.
How to make this Strawberry Mango Smoothie
Step 1: Add the banana, mango and strawberries to the blender with the handful of ice.
Step 2: Add the orange juice and water and blend until smooth. Serve immediately.
All blended, cold and creamy smooth!
Expert Tips
- Use frozen fruit: Be sure to use frozen strawberries, mangoes and banana as this helps to make the smoothie cold. If it is not cold enough for your liking, you can add 1-2 ice cubes.
- Try using homemade milk: This strawberry mango smoothie is great with one of my homemade non-dairy milk recipes such as our cashew milk, oat milk, coconut milk, or almond milk.
- Serve immediately: Smoothies do not keep well and are best enjoyed right away. Even when chilled in the refrigerator, their texture will begin to deteriorate, so I don’t recommend storing them.
Recipe FAQs
I love to pair banana and other berries like strawberries, blueberries and blackberries with my raspberries whether it’s in a smoothie or fresh as a snack.
Yes you can eat raspberries and bananas together unless you have some kind of dietary restriction against it.
I like raspberries, strawberries, blueberries and blackberries the best for smoothies. They are full of vitamin C and antioxidants. I personally like to use frozen fruit in my smoothie because it gives a nice and cold texture while keeping it creamy smooth.

Oh, wow! Bliss is a perfect word to use in the title of this smoothie!! The color alone is beautiful (and totally makes me smile too!), but the flavors are totally on point as well!!! ♡ can't wait to make this, but first I need to move and unpack because my blender is in a box somewhere... dang it. Pinned for later!! ♡ Cheers!!
