This Strawberry Chia Jam is SUPER easy to make, only requires 3 ingredients, naturally sweetened and wayyy healthier than store bought jams.
YASSS friends!!! This jam is super sweet and tasty like eat right out of the jar tasty! And the best part is… it’s naturally sweetened. (make sure you use pure maple syrup not the regular kind with high fructose corn syrup added to it) and full of chia seeds aka: SUPERFOOD check out 12 reason why you needs to eat chia seeds!
Anywaysss I’m so excited about how easy this is to make, it’s nothing new or unique lots of people have made jam but I can't believe it took me this long because it could not be any easier.
Let’s talk about the steps:
- wash and chop up the fresh strawbs.
- blend em’ up with the maple syrup
- Pour into a pot, stir in chia seeds and bring to a bubble and then turn the heat down and simmer until it thickens! Viola.
- Let it cool and pour into a jar and spread this jam on everythanggg! PB&J toast, these amazing 1 Bowl Waffles ,Peanut Butter and Jelly Cups(no baking), this Banana Bread or anything else you use jelly on… maybe just a spoon of PB and this jam on it for a sweet and savory treat!
I think you need this stuff in your life because it’s just not complete without it!
Strawberry Chia Jam
This Strawberry Chia Jam is SUPER easy to make, only requires 3 ingredients, naturally sweetened and wayyy healthier than store bought jams.

Ingredients
2 cups fresh chopped strawberries
2 TBSP pure maple syrup
2 ½ TBSP chia seeds
Instructions
- Wash and chop up the fresh strawberries, place in a blender or small food processor with the maple syrup and blend until smooth.
- Pour mixture into a pot on medium-high heat and add the chia seeds, stir until it starts to simmer and then reduce heat to low/med heating continue to stir 3-6 minutes until it starts to form a jell consistency and appears to thicken… make sure you are stirring the whole time or it could burn!
- Let cool and place in a jar to set overnight, in the morning you’ll have fresh jam!
Notes
Store in the fridge in a sealed jar like a mason jar for 1-2 weeks
