This Cinnamon Quinoa Protein Cereal Bowl is so simple to make, vegan and gluten free, healthy and packed with protein and flavor!
Ok, you know I love my breakfast bowls, even though most of the time I eat them for lunch not breakfast but I know I’m a little different like that plus “lunch bowl” just sounds funny.
Either way this bowl could really be breakfast lunch or dinner cause’ I mean it’s super healthy and packed with nutrition which we all love right?!
Well… this one is like a nice and toasty cookie bowl… the nutty quinoa mixed with cinnamon and nut butter is just so super yum and warming!
This cereal bowl comes together really easily, the only thing you really need to do is prepare the quinoa, I like to soak mine overnight before cooking for better digestion but that’s totally optional.
Once the quinoa is cooked all you really need to do it place it in a bowl and mix in the maple syrup, cinnamon and hemp seeds, then top it with non-dairy milk, nut butter and dark chocolate! That’s it!
I do recommend making a bigger batch of quinoa so you can make a couple portions to save in the fridge and have ready to go for a couple days!

Ingredients
- ½ cup cooked quinoa // about ⅓ cup dry
- 1-2 tablespoon pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp hemp seeds
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup non-dairy milk // I like SILK Almond
- 1 TBSP natural Almond Butter
- Chopped Dark Chocolate // I use Endangered Species brand
Instructions
1. Cook quinoa according to directions on your package.
2. Add quinoa to a bowl, mix in the maple syrup, cinnamon and hemp seeds.
3. Pour the non-dairy milk over the top (like cereal) add the almond butter or any nut/seed butter and the chopped dark chocolate.
Notes
For easier digestion I like to rinse and soak my oats overnights, drain and rinse again before cooking according to package directions.
Meal prep- make a few portions and store in the fridge up to 4 days
